If you are looking for a unique 5k run/walk this year, THIS IS IT! Every December since the 1970's residents on "Christmas Lane/R street" in Thomaston, Ga transform their homes and yards into a magical wonderland with twinkling lights and Christmas decorations galore. Participants will begin and finish at Silvertown Baptist Church and travel down Christmas Lane as well as go thru the Greatest Generation Park and the historic Silvertown subdivision while surrounded by the sights and sounds of Christmas. We hope that you will join us for our annual holiday tradition and that this tradition will become yours as well! Registration now-Oct 30: $40 Oct 30-Race Day: $50

Top 3 male and female overall awards will be given as well as top male and female masters awards and top 3 male and female in each age group. Age groups will be 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39,40-49,50-59,60-69,70-79, and 80+

Following the unfortunate closure of Silvertown Baptist Church last year, we are thrilled to announce that the Christmas Lane 5K tradition will continue. Thanks to the generous support of the City of Thomaston, this year’s race will take place just across the street from The Greatest Generation Memorial Park, utilizing the same excellent course. All pre- and post-race activities will be hosted at the park pavilion, located just a short walk from the traditional start/finish line in front of the church. Additionally, we are proud to share that the course is now officially USATF-certified, making it an official Peachtree Road Race qualifier.
